My Role & Team

I led the end-to-end UX and UI design for NEOM’s Zero Gravity Urbanism RSVP experience, collaborating with:

1 PM
1 UX Manager
2 Developer

I handled the complete structure — from user flow to interaction design — while ensuring the visual output matched the ambition of the brand.

Project Kickoff

The kickoff centered around NEOM’s event in Venice, Italy, with the goal of creating a high-converting RSVP flow for a global audience of architects, planners, and policymakers. We aligned on the event’s tone: minimalist, prestigious, and high-trust.

Communication & Collaboration

I worked closely with the client-side project manager through weekly syncs and async feedback loops (via Notion + Figma comments). Developer handoffs were done via interactive components and dev specs in Figma.

Presenting Ideas

Initial wireframes and concepts were shared within the first 3 days of project start. I used interactive prototypes to walk stakeholders through flows and design logic before locking visual direction.

Assumptions & Validation

Assumption: Users would RSVP via mobile on short notice.

→ Validated through Google Analytics data from past events and responsive test sessions.

→ Resulted in a mobile-first layout and thumb-reachable CTA placement.

What We Measured

→ RSVP conversion rate

→ Drop-off on the form

→ Completion time

→ Used Hotjar for clickmaps and session recordings to validate interaction quality.

Impact

→ ~60% mobile RSVP rate

→ Drop-off reduced by 28% with redesigned step flow

→ Delivered in under 10 days, aligning with event deadlines

→ Used as a design standard for future NEOM public event pages
